ABOUT IAMGOLD
IAMGOLD is an intermediate gold producer and developer based in Canada with operating mines in North America and West Africa, including Côté Gold (Canada), Westwood (Canada) and Essakane (Burkina Faso).
Côté Gold is among the largest gold mines in production in Canada, which IAMGOLD operates in a 70|30 partnership with Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. ("SMM"). In addition, the Company has an established portfolio of early stage and advanced exploration projects within high potential mining districts, including the large-scale Nelligan Mining Complex located in Québec, Canada. IAMGOLD is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:IAG) and the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX:IMG).
ABOUT THIS REPORT
As a member of the World Gold Council, in 2017 IAMGOLD Corporation (the "Company") adopted the Conflict-Free Gold Standard (the "Standard") at all gold mines operated by the company. The Standard is intended to act as an industry program that will provide a mechanism by which gold producers can assess and provide assurance that their gold has been extracted in a manner that does not cause, support or benefit unlawful armed conflict or contribute to serious human rights abuses or breaches in international law.
This Conflict-Free Gold Report (the "Report") summarises how IAMGOLD conforms to the requirements of the Standard. IAMGOLD's Chief Operating Officer is responsible for overseeing the Standard's implementation and for the Company's ongoing compliance. An independent assurance provider has reviewed and assured the Company's compliance with the Standard.
REPORTING BOUNDARY
The boundary for Conflict-Free Gold Report includes all active IAMGOLD mining operations, Côté gold mine, the Westwood complex and Essakane gold mine (the "operating sites") and covers the reporting period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, following the previous review.
The scope includes the following sites:
Essakane Gold Mine, Burkina Faso
Westwood Gold Mine, Quebec, Canada
Côté Gold Mine, Ontario, Canada
STANDARD'S REQUIREMENTS
The Standard is comprised of five assessments, components (Part A - E):
Part A - Conflict Assessment
Part B - Company Assessment
Part C - Commodity Assessment
Part D - Externally Sourced Gold Assessment, and
Part E - Management Statement of Conformance.
Part A of the Standard requires companies to assess whether they are adhering to international sanctions and undertake a risk assessment based upon the recognition of conflict. Applying the Standard's criteria, operations that are in an area ranked as 'conflict-affected or high-risk' within the last two years by the Heidelberg Conflict Barometer must complete all remaining assessments in Parts B-E of the Standard. For operations, such as the sites over which IAMGOLD has direct control that are not considered in a 'conflict-affected or high-risk' area and where the company does not transport gold while in the custody of the producer, the remaining assessments are D and E.
IAMGOLD CORPORATION'S EVALUATION
Following Part A - Conflict Assessment, IAMGOLD concluded that we did not breach any international sanctions. IAMGOLD reviewed the Heidelberg Conflict Barometer to determine if the areas where our mines are located should be assessed as 'conflict-affected or high risk'. As Burkina Faso has been identified to be at level 4 and 5 ("Highly Violent", "Wars" and "Limited War") by the Heidelberg Conflict Barometer we concluded that the Essakane gold mine was located in a 'conflict-affected or high-risk' country in 2025. IAMGOLD undertook assessments under Parts B and C as set out in the Standard for Essakane gold mine. We did not undertake Part B and C assessments for the Côté Gold mine or Westwood gold mine as these mines were not assessed to be in a 'conflict-affected or high risk' area.
Following Part B - Company Assessment, IAMGOLD evaluated our processes, policies and procedures in relation to human rights, corporate activities, security, payments and benefits-in-kind and engagement, complaints and grievances to support conformance with the Standard. IAMGOLD concluded that the company and Essakane gold mine has the appropriate mechanisms in place to demonstrate an ability to operate in 'conflict-affected or high-risk' areas and that it complies with Part B of the Standard.
Following Part C - Commodity Assessment, IAMGOLD evaluated the nature of our gold production, control of gold at the Essakane gold mine and the transport of gold and gold bearing materials to the refinery to support conformance with the Standard. Our assessment noted that Essakane gold mine has adequate controls and procedures in place related to the security and management of all gold and gold bearing materials within the mine's area of control. We also noted that IAMGOLD does not have control over the gold and gold-bearing material when in transit, the refinery has custody of any gold and gold bearing material beginning at the Essakane mine. Additionally, IAMGOLD checked government watch lists and other sources to identify any affiliations with the government, political parties, the military, criminal networks or non-state armed groups through review of the Human Rights Watch website and performed a web-based search in order to identify corruption and human right allegations.
IAMGOLD concluded that the company and Essakane gold mine complies with Part C of the standard. Following Part D - Externally Sourced Gold Assessment, IAMGOLD concluded we are in compliance as
none of IAMGOLD's mine sites sourced gold from third parties and we have implemented the appropriate Management Statement of Conformance documentation as required in Part E. IAMGOLD concludes that our operations conform to the criteria set out in the Standard for a period ranging 2025.
IAMGOLD engaged the services of EEM-EHS Management, to provide independent limited assurance regarding IAMGOLD conformance with the Standard. The Independent Limited Assurance Report can be viewed in the appendix of this report.

To the Board of Directors and Management of IAMGOLD,
EEM EHS Management Inc. (EEM) was mandated to conduct an independent assurance of IAMGOLD's 2025 Conflict-Free Gold Report (CFG Report), reporting on how IAMGOLD conforms to the requirements of the CFG Standard for the period between January 1 and December 31, 2025. IAMGOLD was responsible for the preparation and content of the report. EEM was responsible for providing an independent opinion of the CFG Report.
Based on the assurance process, we conclude that IAMGOLD's CFG Report presents a reliable account of IAMGOLD's conformance to the Conflict-Free Gold standard (CFGS) for the 2025 period. This conclusion is to be read in the context of the remainder of this letter.
Our evaluation was conducted in compliance with the requirements of a Type 2 assurance for a moderate level of assurance described in the AccountAbility AA1000 Assurance Standard (V3) and with the Conformance, public disclosure and external assurance section of the CFGS and the Conflict-Free Gold Standard Guidance for Assurance Providers. The following elements of the report were reviewed:
Adherence to the Principles in the AA1000 AccountAbility Principles Standard (2018).
The reliability and quality of IAMGOLD's conformance statement to the CFGS. IAMGOLD used the CFGS (2012) criteria.
The sites within the scope of this assurance consisted of the IAMGOLD Corporate Office and operations undertaken by IAMGOLD at the Essakane Gold Mine, Burkina Faso, and the Westwood Complex and Côté Gold mine, Canada. This reporting boundary is consistent with the reporting boundaries that IAMGOLD discloses within its CFG Report.
Our assurance was conducted between October 2025 and March 2026, using the following methodology:
Site visit to Côté Gold Mine conducted in December 2025, as part of a joint review of the RGMP
and a gap assessment with the new Consolidated Mining Standard Initiative (CMSI).
Remote interviews with corporate functions and site functions in February and March 2026.
Review of the latest version (2024) of the Conflict Barometer published by the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research.
Review of publicly available information on sanctions and violations published by Canada, the United States of America, European Nations, and the United Nations.
Review of CFGS and risk-related processes, documents and records to test a selection of the underlying processes and controls which support the information in the report, and to validate the degree of IAMGOLD's adherence to the AA1000AP (2018) principles.
These activities meet the requirements that are expected of World Gold Council (WGC) members companies to publicly disclose their conformance through an annual CFGS assured report.
Non-financial information, such as conformance with the CFGS, is subject to more inherent limitations than financial information, given the more qualitative characteristics of the subject matter and the methods used for determining conformance. The absence of a significant body of established practice on which to draw to evaluate and measure nonfinancial information allows for different, but acceptable, measurement techniques and can affect comparability between entities and over time.
No other limitations were identified during this assurance.
Inclusivity
A commitment to sustainability and social responsibility from their employees, contractors and suppliers is fundamental to the success of IAMGOLD's business. IAMGOLD identifies its stakeholders and maintains special relationships and trust with host communities through active engagement and collaboration with impacted, host, and other relevant communities, community development programs, and community investments.
Materiality
IAMGOLD's materiality assessment was updated in 2023 by internal and external experts using a multi-step process including consultation with internal and external stakeholders and rightsholders. Materiality is integrated into the enterprise risk management process and is used to review and prioritize issues and to identify the topics that should be reported on. The next full materiality assessment and update of material topics is planned for 2026.
Responsiveness
IAMGOLD's policies and processes ensure timely and relevant reaction to its material sustainability topics and their related impacts. The process to identify communities of interest is ongoing, focusing on vulnerable groups, with engagement involving various stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels each year. Communication with and from stakeholders occurs during various stakeholder meetings, through Stakeholder Monitoring Committees, the grievance mechanism, and the publication of annual reports such as the Sustainability report, the Conflict Free Gold report and the RGMP report.
Impact
IAMGOLD's governance structure ensures that it systematically evaluates the risks and associated impacts of its strategies, decisions, projects, and activities on sustainability matters and its stakeholders. Environmental and social impact assessments are conducted as part of project
approval and implementation. These evaluations inform IAMGOLD's dialogue and interactions with stakeholders. The impacts are documented in several ways, including in the Sustainability report.
EEM has policies and procedures in place to ensure that its employees maintain their independence during the execution of its independent evaluations. The assurance of IAMGOLD's CFG Report was carried out by experienced assurance providers and overseen by a PCSAP. The assurance team members confirm they are independent of IAMGOLD's activities and processes and were not involved in preparing the disclosures, report, or any information within the assured report.
