Credo Technology Seeks ITC Investigation Into Alleged Infringement of Electric-Cable Patents -- 2nd Update

CRDO

By Denny Jacob

Credo Technology Group Holding filed a complaint with the International Trade Commission alleging a number of companies infringed on patents related to active electrical cables.

The high-speed connectivity solutions company on Thursday said it asked the ITC to investigate Amphenol, Molex, TE Connectivity and Volex, and to block the import of products that Credo said infringe on the patents.

The Cayman Islands company added that it is filing parallel complaints in a federal court alleging willful infringement over claims it provided notices of its patents to each of these companies in September 2023.

TE Connectivity and Molex, a unit of Koch Industries, declined to comment.

Representatives for Amphenol and Volex didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
