(Reuters) - Industry veteran Russell Budnick is set to join Citi Wealth as the global head of capital markets in August 2025, Citigroup said on Wednesday.

Budnick spent the past two decades of his life at JPMorgan, where he most recently served as the global head of market strategy and trading housed within the bank's capital markets vertical.

He also has experience as a head of trading across taxable fixed income products, credit, and cross-asset equities, fixed income and currencies, according to his LinkedIn profile.

"Russ is a proven leader with decades of capital markets experience. He is uniquely positioned to continue the strong momentum of the business and partner across the Citi organization," said Keith Glenfield, Citi Wealth's head of investment solutions.

In his role as the global head, Budnick will be looking over all the aspects of the company's capital markets business and will report to Glenfield.
