Lockheed Martin announces that the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) has selected the TPY-4 air surveillance radar to enhance the country's long-range surveillance capabilities.Sweden thus becomes the third country to choose this fifth-generation radar platform, after the United States and Norway.Delivery of the first systems is scheduled for 2027, in response to the Swedish Air Force's national defense requirements.
