OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ BancFirst Corp. (BANF) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $38.2 million.

The bank, based in Oklahoma City, said it had earnings of $1.15 per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.08 per share.

For the year, the company reported profit of $167.6 million, or $5.03 per share. Revenue was reported as $485.7 million.

BancFirst shares have increased roughly 7% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $75.29, a rise of 17% in the last 12 months.
