NLRB Drops Unfair Labor Claim Against Neogen

NEOG

By Katherine Hamilton

The National Labor Relations Board has withdrawn its unfair labor practices claim against Neogen, the company said.

The food processing and technology company said Tuesday that warehouse shipping clerks at its headquarters in Lansing, Mich., will have the opportunity to vote in an election to determine whether they want to unionize.

The NLRB previously filed a claim alleging Neogen was threatening employees with loss of benefits, pay raises and jobs if they organized to form a union.

The claim was withdrawn following a mutual agreement and Neogen did not admit wrongdoing, it said.
