Target : Summer 2025 New Store Openings

We're celebrating the opening of eight new stores this summer, bringing Target's easy, affordable and joy-filled shopping experience and good jobs to communities in California, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. This includes leaning into larger footprints: Three of these newest stores top our 125,000-square-foot chain average.

They're the latest examples of the more than 300 new stores we plan to build during the next decade as we aim to serve even more consumers. And we've got so much to offer, with on-trend newness and everyday essentials that provide high quality at an incredible value, whether guests are shopping our aisles or using our same-day services like Drive Up, Order Pickup or same-day delivery with Target Circle 360.

In fact, with every grand opening, we're getting closer to more consumers in support of our stores-as-hubs model, in which our stores serve as both shopping destinations and fulfillment hubs to deliver what guests need, when and where they need it. Fun fact: Our stores fulfill 95% of our digital orders, including same-day delivery service with Target Circle 360, which currently reaches 80% of the U.S. population.

Then there's the people part: Each addition to our nearly 2,000-store network provides rewarding jobs whether team members are seeking a seasonal role or a long-term career. We have long invested in our teams, with a starting wage range of $15 to $24 per hour (depending on the role and location) and tuition-free education assistance. (Want to join our team? We're also extending Target's culture of care into the communities we serve to support local needs, investing more than 340,000 hours of community service and more than $107 million in product and cash donations last year in California, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

"I'm so grateful for the experiences I've had as a member of the Target stores team - they've shaped me, both as a leader and as a person," said Chief Stores Officer Adrienne Costanzo, who started her Target career 20 years ago at a store in Evansville, Indiana. "There's an energy and camaraderie in our stores that's hard to describe - and one that I'll never take for granted - with teams who support and champion each other to do our best every day. It's a culture of caring, growing and winning together that not only helps us bring out the best of Target for our guests, but also the best in each other."

Add our wide assortment of national and owned brands, and our growing number of shop-in-shops, and we're on track to help all families discover the joy of everyday life. And stay tuned - these are just the latest of about 20 stores we're on track to open this year, with more on their way this October, bringing Target joy to even more communities.

The following Target store is officially opening on July 20:

22-11 31st Street, Astoria, NY 11105

Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Noteworthy: Queens Astoria's floor-to-ceiling glass offers a clear view of New York City's Hell Gate Bridge from the store's third floor. It's our eighth store in the Queens borough and 108th in the state of New York.

The following Target stores are officially opening on August 17:

8063 Mission Boulevard, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509

Sunday - Saturday: 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Noteworthy: Jurupa Valley, our 320th store in California, has one of our largest food offerings in the Los Angeles market, with 16,000 square feet of produce, meat and dairy.

900 Boston Post Road, Guilford, CT 06437

Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Noteworthy: This location is our first store in Guilford, and our 23rd in Connecticut.

680 Connecticut Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06854

Sunday - Saturday: 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Noteworthy: This is our 24th store in Connecticut and our first location in Norwalk.

725 Lighthouse Drive, Bradenton, FL 34212

Sunday - Saturday: 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Noteworthy: This is our second store in Bradenton, following Bradenton Beach, which opened in the summer of 2024. Bradenton Heritage Harbor also features 16,000 square feet of fresh and affordable produce, meat and dairy, as well as everyday essentials and pantry staples.

Monday - Saturday: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Sunday: 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Noteworthy: Flemington is our 53rd store in New Jersey.

985 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA 19380

Sunday - Saturday: 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Noteworthy: This is our 79th store in Pennsylvania.

The following Target stores officially opened their doors on April 13:

14101 N. Prasada Parkway, Surprise, AZ 85388

Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Noteworthy: This store features 16,000 square feet of fresh and affordable produce, meat and dairy, as well as everyday essentials and pantry staples.

4000 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, No. 6, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

Sunday - Saturday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Noteworthy: This location is our first store in Lake Tahoe, offering local guests a convenient, all-in-one shopping option for groceries, essentials and on-trend items.

2755 W. University Drive, Suite 1101, Denton, TX 76201

Monday - Saturday: 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Sunday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Noteworthy: Denton North - our second store in Denton, Texas, and our 50th in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington market - is an affordable, inspiring source of everyday essentials, school supplies and campus gear to students at two nearby colleges - the University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University. Denton is also home to a Target food and beverage supply chain facility, which serves our 158 stores in Texas.
