Southern Copper CEO Oscar Gonzalez Rocha Dies

Oscar Gonzalez Rocha, chief executive of Southern Copper, died unexpectedly on April 7.

The company intends to appoint an interim CEO or permanent successor "in the near future," it said in a Monday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Rocha also was the company's president and sat on its board of directors.
