Amazon union members at another U.S. facility voted to authorize a strike, the latest in multiple walkout approvals as tensions with the e-commerce company spread across the country over contract negotiations.

Teamsters, one of the largest U.S. labor unions, on Wednesday said workers at San Francisco's DCK6 facility authorized the strike. This follows similar strike votes at nine Amazon locations across the U.S., including facilities in California, Illinois, New York and most recently Georgia.

The union gave Amazon a Dec. 15 deadline to negotiate, which Teamsters said the company has ignored.

"If Amazon wants a fight, the 1.3 million-member Teamsters Union is ready to deliver," said Teamsters General President Sean M. O'Brien.

Amazon didn't immediately respond to requests for comment.

Amazon has previously said Teamsters has been misleading the public for more than a year now by claiming that they represent thousands of Amazon employees and drivers, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Teamsters said it represents nearly 10,000 Amazon employees at 10 facilities across the U.S., and a total of 1.3 million people in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada.

The union's move comes around three months after Amazon said it would invest approximately $2 billion toward the delivery drivers amidst union-organizing activity among these workers. The money was projected to result in a 7% boost in the national average of the drivers' pay, to reach around $22 an hour.
