Carnival Corporation Breaks Ground on New Global Headquarters in Miami
World's largest cruise company celebrates milestone ceremony at future campus site in Waterford Business District, unveiling new street address and receiving official "Carnival Day" county proclamation
MIAMI (May 4, 2026) - Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK), the world's largest cruise company, officially broke ground on the future site of its next-generation multi-building global headquarters in Miami's Waterford Business District. The milestone event marks the beginning of construction on the new campus, celebrating over 50 years of the company's heritage in South Florida and its ongoing long-term investment in Miami-Dade County.
In a ceremony attended by local Miami-Dade community leaders, port officials and development partners, Carnival Corporation unveiled its headquarters' new address, 887 Carnival Place, before breaking ground. To mark the occasion and recognize the company's lasting civic partnerships and continued local commitment and investment, Miami-Dade County issued a formal proclamation designating May 1 as "Carnival Place Day." Planned for completion in 2028, the campus will house more than 2,000 team members initially and serve as the global headquarters for Carnival Corporation and its cruise lines as the company brings together most of its North America shoreside teams on one campus. Plans for the development include an estimated 700,000 square feet of workspace, including training and rehearsal facilities for its onboard entertainers, along with a mix of open collaboration zones, individual workplaces and ample meeting rooms. By pairing expansive greenspace and onsite amenities with a future-ready technological infrastructure, the campus will be purpose-built to support how teams work today with the flexibility to adapt and transform over time as its operations and scale evolve.

Supported by Cushman & Wakefield's real estate expertise and led by Brasfield & Gorrie as general contractor, the project also includes construction management consulting from Solutions Builder Inc. Site work is scheduled to begin immediately.
