Lamar Advertising Company, a leading outdoor advertising firm, has been contracted by Orlando Sanford Airport (SFB) to manage all display advertising at the airport.
Lamar began managing all static and digital inventory as of March 1 and assumed responsibility for all advertising activity, offering local and national brands new opportunities to engage the nearly 2.8 million passengers traveling through SFB each year, according to a press release.
"We are excited to begin this partnership with Lamar to transform and elevate advertising and passenger experiences at the airport," Lauren Rowe, director of communications, SFB, said in the release.
The airport offers more than 50 direct flights to and from the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford area and is a major economic driver for Seminole County.
"SFB is a favorite airport for both locals and highly desirable tourists seeking a relaxed and comfortable travel experience to and from Orlando," Casey Sexton, president of Lamar Airports, said in the release. "We're proud to add SFB to our growing roster of airport clients and look forward to helping the airport extract maximum value from digital and static advertising opportunities."
