U.S. Supreme Court Denies American Airlines Appeal of JetBlue Partnership Ruling

American Airlines may have reached the end of the line in its efforts to overturn the federal court ruling that blocked its partnership JetBlue. The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear American's appeal.

The decision that the partnership in the northeast would reduce competition and violate federal antitrust laws was upheld by an appeals court last year.

JetBlue has already moved on, striking a new, more limited partnership with United Airlines last month.
