MOUNT AIRY, N.C. (AP) — MOUNT AIRY, N.C. (AP) — Insteel Industries Inc. (IIIN) on Thursday reported profit of $1.1 million in its fiscal first quarter.

The Mount Airy, North Carolina-based company said it had profit of 6 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs and costs related to mergers and acquisitions, came to 10 cents per share.

The maker of steel wire reinforcing for the concrete and construction industry posted revenue of $129.7 million in the period.
