Kinross Gold : Great Bear attends Lac Seul Career Fair!

Kinross Great Bear was excited to attend the Lac Seul Career Fair earlier in May to highlight the exciting career opportunities available at our Great Bear project, and to share more information about Kinross Gold. The team answered questions, provided fact sheets about the Company and potential career paths, handed out Kinross swag, and even had core samples on hand! The event had 107 local vendors, and attracted over a thousand people including 500 students!

"The Kinross Great Bear booth was a main attraction at the Lac Seul Career Fair and was an excellent opportunity for our team members to meet face-to-face with youth from around the region, and job-seekers wanting to explore the opportunities available within the mining industry. This event has grown significantly over time which is a testament to the great work of the Lac Seul First Nation team" said Mac Potter, External Relations Manager, Great Bear. "The Career Fair is highlight for our team and provides a great way to meet with community members to share more information about the project, our plans in the region, and most importantly build on those relationships with community members and the youth of Lac Seul First Nation and the area. Our team would like to extend a big thank you to the Lac Seul community for having us, and creating such a successful event."
