Cementir Named Among the World's Most Sustainable Companies

(Alliance News) - Cementir Holding NV has been included in the "World's Most Sustainable Companies 2025" ranking, compiled by Time and Statista, which selects the 500 global enterprises demonstrating the best combination of financial strength and sustainability, Il Messaggero reported on Thursday.

The company, led by Francesco Caltagirone Jr., was recognized for its progress in decarbonization, sustainable innovation, and transparency, in line with its long-term ESG strategy.

The assessment is based on four key dimensions: business sustainability, ESG goals and ratings, data transparency, and social and environmental responsibility. Parameters considered include Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, energy and water consumption, waste management, and workplace safety.

In addition to its inclusion in the Time ranking, Cementir has received the "ESG Industry Top-Rated" recognition from Sustainalytics and was listed among the "Climate Leaders 2025" by the Financial Times and Statista. Furthermore, the company earned an A rating from Cassa Depositi e Prestiti for climate change and an A- for water security.
