Amazon Prime launches in Colombia: Free and Fast International Delivery, Prime Video, Exclusive Deals and Prime Day, Prime Gaming, and More

Starting today, customers can join Amazon Prime in Colombia for just COP $24,900 per month, the same cost as the existing Prime Video subscription, and enjoy the very best of shopping, savings and entertainment in a single membership - including free and fast delivery from the U.S. on millions of items, TV shows and movies on Prime Video including local favourites and global hits, exclusive deals and shopping events like Prime Day, free games and a free Twitch subscription on Prime Gaming, and more. Those customers in Colombia who already subscribe to Prime Video will now have access to Prime, getting the full suite of benefits across shopping and entertainment for the same cost.

Introducing Amazon Prime Colombia on Amazon.com

While many Colombian customers already shop on Amazon.com, today sees the launch of a dedicated, local Prime membership on amazon.com/amazonprime. The membership offers multiple benefits including free delivery from the U.S. within five days on millions of items, including products from big brands to small independent sellers, with no minimum order value. In addition to free delivery on a large selection from amazon.com, membership includes access to Prime exclusive deals and shopping events such as Prime Day, coming to Colombia for the first time this July. Prime Video, Amazon Prime's streaming service that many Colombian's already know and love, includes TV Shows and movies such as Betty la Fea, la Historia Continua, LOL: Last One Laughing Colombia, Los Iniciados, Noticia de un Secuestro, El Niño de Medellín, Manes as well as award-winning and critically acclaimed global Amazon Original series and movies including The Idea of You, Fallout, The Boys, Citadel, The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power, AIR, Shotgun Wedding.

Amazon in Colombia Amazon already has a rich history in Colombia; amazon.comhas offered free international shipping to Colombia since 2019, Prime Video launched in 2020 and has since released over 15 local Amazon Original titles. Amazon opened its customer service center in Bogota in 2018, including a virtual customer service center which offers remote roles across the country, and in 2023, AWS opened a new data center in Bogota. Amazon now has more than 2,500 employees in Colombia.
