May 4, 2026 9:00 AM Newmark announces the Company has arranged the $64 million sale of The Liam at Hays Farm, a 329-unit Class A multifamily property in Huntsville, Alabama. The asset was acquired by Greystone and marks the largest multifamily sale in the Huntsville market since 2023.[1] Newmark Multifamily Capital Markets Senior Managing Director Justin Uffinger and Associate Director Sarah Nee represented the seller, a joint venture between Bomasada Group and an affiliate of The Wolff Company, in the transaction. "We continue to see strong investor demand for high-quality multifamily assets in Huntsville, driven by the market's robust population growth, expanding employment base and relative affordability," said Uffinger. "The Liam at Hays Farm offered an exceptional opportunity to acquire a newly constructed, institutionally built community within one of the Southeast's most dynamic growth markets." Constructed in 2024, The Liam at Hays Farm features luxury amenities and top-tier interior finishes. Community amenities include a resort-style pool, zen courtyard with fireside lounge and state-of-the-art fitness center. The property is located within Hays Farm, an 850-acre master-planned community in South Huntsville, with approximately 500 acres dedicated to preserved green space, including wooded areas, ponds and trails. The asset is adjacent to Grissom High School and approximately five minutes from Gate 3 of Redstone Arsenal, one of the region's primary employment hubs. Huntsville has experienced significant population growth in recent years, increasing by approximately 16% since 2020 and ranking among the fastest-growing cities in the U.S., according to the City of Huntsville's Planning Department.
