New York Times : Staff News From Opinion Shows

Rebecca Shaid is joining as an associate producer. She most recently served as supervising producer at the production company Outerboro Films, where she helped produce a slate of documentary, commercial and digital projects. Her work there included "Manhood," a feature documentary about American masculinity and body modification, which premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival in 2026.

She graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, where she was involved with WNUR, the school's independent radio station, and developed an early interest in audio and visual storytelling.
