Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Amazon Web Services are partnering to expand their multicloud networking capabilities.

The collaboration between the two cloud providers will give multicloud customers "a fast, private, managed connection to run applications and move data seamlessly between OCI and AWS," Oracle said.

"This will help our mutual customers modernize their applications, unify their data and unlock new generative AI opportunities," said Nathan Thomas, senior vice president of product management at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

The collaboration will allow customers to use the strengths of multiple cloud providers while avoiding the complexities of managing multiple network providers and installing physical network infrastructure, Oracle said.
