Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On August 30, 2021, Domtar Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that it has terminated its previously announced consent solicitations with respect to its outstanding 6.25% Senior Notes due 2042 (the "2042 Notes") and 6.75% Senior Notes due 2044 (the "2044 Notes" and together with the 2042 Notes, the "Notes") and that Karta Halten B.V. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Pearl Merger Sub Inc., an affiliate of Paper Excellence B.V., has terminated its previously announced tender offers and consent solicitations with respect to the Notes. The press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
