Google parent company Alphabet and chipmaker Broadcom have expanded their partnership with the launch of Cloud Network Insights, aiming to bring end-to-end visibility to complex networks powering modern apps and artificial intelligence agents.

Broadcom said Wednesday that the collaboration is with Google Cloud, enabled by AppNeta, Broadcom's network-performance monitoring platform. The service gives IT teams a single view of performance across clouds, software-as-a-service apps, and on-premise systems, helping to observe and diagnose issues faster as workloads are spread across more complex cloud and hybrid environments.

The move follows a previous announcement earlier in the month where Broadcom said it will develop and supply custom AI chips for Google along with networking and other components for Google's next-generation AI data center racks through up to 2031, as part of a supply assurance agreement.
