COMMITMENT TO THE RGMPS

IAMGOLD Corporation ("Company" or "IAMGOLD") is committed to responsible mining. To demonstrate that commitment, the Company has endorsed and implemented the Responsible Gold Mining Principles (the "Principles" or "RGMP") developed by the World Gold Council (WGC).

In conforming to the Principles, IAMGOLD has:

Developed and implemented policies, systems, processes and controls to support Company conformance with the Principles;

Disclosed information that helps external stakeholders understand how conformance with the Principles is achieved;

When relevant, disclosed instances or events which have given rise to a situation of non-conformance and the steps that will be taken to remedy the situation; and

Secured independent assurance over the process to ensure stakeholder confidence and credibility in the process and conclusions.

Annually, IAMGOLD produces a "full conformance" Report on the Implementation

of the Responsible Gold Mining Principles. The report is independently assured and publicly disclosed as per the WGC requirements.

BOUNDARY FOR THE RGMP REPORT

The boundary for this RGMP Report includes all active IAMGOLD mining operations, Côté Gold mine, the Westwood complex and Essakane Gold mine (the "operating sites") and covers the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, following the previous review.

the ELT have core ESG responsibilities.

Principle 2 -Understanding Our Impacts: we will engage with our stakeholders and implement management systems so as to ensure that we understand and manage our impacts, realise opportunities and provide redress where needed.

Each new supplier is required to certify their awareness and compliance with the Supplier Code.

At Essakane, there are artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) occurring adjacent to the site. To manage relationships, Essakane engages with the local associations such as the Oudalan and Falagountou Gold Miners Associations and

their community engagement committee.

Principle 4 - Safety and Health: we will protect and promote the safety

and occupational

IAMGOLD has a Health and Safety Policy that establishes our commitment to fostering a culture of safety. By proactively identifying, assessing, and controlling hazards, we aim to

create a culture that promotes both physical

health of our workforce (employees and contractors) above all other priorities, and will empower them to speak up if they encounter unsafe working conditions.

and psychological well-being. Through ongoing safety leadership, training, and empowerment of our people, we strive to foster an environment where everyone proactively plays an integral role in improving and upholding health and safety practices.

formal in-field verification process.

Principle 5 -Human Rights and Conflict: we will respect the human rights of our workforce, affected communities and all those people with whom we interact.

species are protected from damage and will plan for responsible mine closure.

IAMGOLD has a Sustainability Policy and Biodiversity Management Policy that outlines our commitment to integrating biodiversity management and conservation at all stages of our activities, from exploration to mine closure.

All sites have Biodiversity Management Plans in place.

In 2025, we began the formation of regional biodiversity working groups, around our Côté and Westwood operations, to help IAMGOLD navigate the development or adoption of a biodiversity accounting framework. These working groups consist of elected representatives from our First Nations partners, academia, and conservation civil society

organizations.

Principle 10 -Water, Energy and Climate Change: We will improve the efficiency of our use of water and energy, recognising that the impacts of climate change and water constraints may increasingly become a threat to the locations

where we work and a risk to our license to operate.

IAMGOLD has a Sustainability Policy, Energy and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management Policy, and Water Management Policy that outlines our commitments.

IAMGOLD has developed a climate and energy transition strategy, and reports on our climate change strategy and Scope 1 and 2 emissions in our Annual Sustainability Report.

It incorporates value-driven principles, industry best practices, such as from the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) and Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM), and subject matter expertise. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is the designated Accountable Executive Officer on water who is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the Standard. Each site also defines accountabilities and responsibilities for water management at the site level.

Site water management plans address water quality, quantity, closure, reclamation, tailings,

discharged water, potable water, and

groundwater.

MOVING FORWARD

With evolving responsible mining standards, including the Consolidated Mining Standard Initiative, we continue to evaluate our Sustainability Governance Framework. This multi-year initiative aims to enhance consistency across sites while strengthening our alignment with industry best practices and stakeholder expectations. In addition, we are engaged in the implementation of the new Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Protocol, which will further support the RGMPs. These efforts reflect our ongoing commitment to continual improvement in responsible mining practices.

EXTERNAL ASSURANCE

IAMGOLD engaged the services of EEM EHS Management to provide independent limited assurance regarding IAMGOLD's conformance with the RGMPs as per the requirements set out in the World Gold Council's RGMP Assurance Framework. Document reviews and site and corporate interviews were conducted, as well as a site visit to Côté mine in December

2025. The site visits included interviews with management and employees.

The site visit to Côté was conducted as part a joint review of the RGMPs and the external assessment of the Consolidated Mining Standard Initiative (CMSI). External assurance site visits occur on a rotational basis across all sites. In 2024 the site visit was to Essakane.

The Independent Limited Assurance Report can be viewed in the appendix of this report.

To the Board of Directors and Management of IAMGOLD,

EEM EHS Management Inc. (EEM) was mandated to conduct an independent assurance of IAMGOLD's 2025 Responsible Gold Mining Principles Report (RGMP Report), reporting on compliance and key highlights for the period of January 1 to December 31, 2025. IAMGOLD was responsible for the preparation and content of the report. EEM was responsible for providing an independent opinion of the RGMP Report.

Based on the assurance process, we conclude that IAMGOLD's RGMP Report presents a reliable account of their conformance status and key highlights. This conclusion is to be read in the context of the remainder of this letter.

To ensure continued full conformance with principles 3.1 and 5.1, the following recommendations are issued for Essakane:

Ensure a process is in place to maintain current policies on the Essakane website.

Ensure current policy versions are included in contracts.

Implement an effective communication process between the Environment, Health & Safety and the Supply Chain Departments for policy updates to ensure contractors, employees and suppliers have access to the latest versions of IAMGOLD and Essakane policies.

Integrate the Human Rights Policy into contracts.

Update the induction training to add topics pertaining to human rights.

Our evaluation was conducted in compliance with the requirements of a Type 2 assurance for a moderate level of assurance described in the AccountAbility AA1000 Assurance Standard (V3) and with the Assurance Framework for the RGMP. The following elements of the report were reviewed:

Adherence to the Principles in the AA1000 AccountAbility Principles Standard (2018).

The reliability and quality of the compliance and key highlights presented in the RGMP Report. IAMGOLD used the RGMP criteria.

The sites within the scope of this assurance consisted of the IAMGOLD Corporate Office and operations undertaken by IAMGOLD at the Essakane Gold Mine, Burkina Faso, and the Westwood Complex and Côté Gold Mine, Canada. The Côté Gold Mine was included for the first time in the RGMP Report as it started production on March 31, 2024.

Our assurance was conducted between October 2025 and March 2026, using the following methodology:

Site visit to Côté Gold Mine conducted in December 2025, as part of a joint review of the RGMP

and a gap assessment with the new Consolidated Mining Standard Initiative (CMSI).

Remote interviews with corporate functions and site functions in February and March 2026.

Review of RGMP-related processes, documents and records to support RGMP conformance and key highlights, and to validate the degree of IAMGOLD's adherence to the AA1000 AP (2018) principles.

These activities meet the requirements that are expected of World Gold Council member companies once the RGMP are fully implemented.

Non-financial information, such as conformance with the RGMP, is subject to more inherent limitations than financial information, given the more qualitative characteristics of the subject matter and the methods used for determining conformance. The absence of a significant body of established practice on which to draw to evaluate and measure nonfinancial information allows for different, but acceptable, measurement techniques and can affect comparability between entities and over time.

No other limitations were identified during this assurance.

Inclusivity

A commitment to sustainability and social responsibility from their employees, contractors and suppliers is fundamental to the success of IAMGOLD's business. IAMGOLD identifies its stakeholders and maintains special relationships and trust with host communities through active engagement and collaboration with impacted, host, and other relevant communities, community development programs, and community investments.

Materiality

IAMGOLD's materiality assessment was updated in 2023 by internal and external experts using a multi-step process including consultation with internal and external stakeholders and rightsholders. Materiality is integrated into the enterprise risk management process and is used to review and prioritize issues and to identify the topics that should be reported on. The next full materiality assessment and update of material topics is planned for 2026.

Responsiveness

IAMGOLD's policies and processes ensure timely and relevant reaction to its material sustainability topics and their related impacts. The process to identify communities of interest is ongoing, focusing on vulnerable groups, with engagement involving various stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels each year. Communication with and from stakeholders occurs during various stakeholder meetings, through Stakeholder Monitoring Committees, the grievance mechanism, and the

publication of annual reports such as the Sustainability report, the Conflict Free Gold report and the

RGMP report. Impact

IAMGOLD's governance structure ensures that it systematically evaluates the risks and associated impacts of its strategies, decisions, projects, and activities on sustainability matters and its stakeholders. Environmental and social impact assessments are conducted as part of project approval and implementation. These assessments inform IAMGOLD's dialogue and interactions with stakeholders. The impacts are documented in several ways, including in the Sustainability report.

EEM has policies and procedures in place to ensure that its employees maintain their independence during the execution of its independent evaluations. The assurance of IAMGOLD's RGMP Report was carried out by experienced assurance providers and overseen by a PCSAP. The assurance team members confirm they are independent of IAMGOLD's activities and processes and were not involved in preparing the disclosures, report, or any information within the assured report.
