SOUTHWEST AIRLINES CO: More flights are available for booking today to connect Customers to high-profile college and professional football games, along with popular fall events. The extra flights include increased frequencies on existing Southwest routes and connecting cities not currently served nonstop.
Saturdays Are for SouthwestFor college football fans, the Official Airline of the Southeastern Conference has added 59 flights for 19 games throughout the fall, including 13 SEC games.
Six additional flights are scheduled to depart to Columbus, Ohio, from Dallas, Austin and Houston on Aug. 29 and eight will return to those cities Aug. 31, creating multiple itinerary options for fans attending the rematch of January's national semifinal game between Texas and Ohio State.
OKC Will Rogers International Airport will be connected to four routes not traditionally served with flights to and from Eugene, Oregon (Oklahoma State at Oregon on Sept. 6), Detroit (Michigan at Oklahoma on Sept. 6), Atlanta (Auburn at Oklahoma on Sept. 20), and Birmingham, Alabama (Oklahoma at Alabama on Nov. 15).
Two games at famed Notre Dame Stadium will have additional flights into Chicago Midway International Airport with service from Austin, Dallas, and Houston for the Texas A&M-Notre Dame matchup on Sept. 13 and service from Boise, Idaho for Boise State-Notre Dame on Oct 4.
The airline is connecting Jackson, Miss., and Las Vegas for the first time for the HBCU Classic featuring Grambling and Jackson State on Oct. 25.

?Travel Like a ProOut for sale are 54 additional flights for 24 key matchups, giving nearly half of professional football fanbases a chance to catch their team on the road this season. Seven routes not currently served nonstop that are out for sale on select weekends are (home team city listed last) Buffalo-Atlanta, Buffalo-Charlotte, Kansas City-Jacksonville, Kansas City-Buffalo, Milwaukee-Cleveland, New Orleans-Buffalo, and Oakland-New Orleans.
Fans from five different cities with professional teams will have the chance to follow their team to Las Vegas with added frequencies from Chicago (Midway) for the game on Sept. 28, Nashville for the game on Oct. 12, Dallas (Love Field) and El Paso for the game on Nov. 17, Cleveland for the game on Nov. 23 and Denver for the game on Dec. 7.

Festivals, Fast Cars and Finals RodeoMore options are available for Customers wishing to attend popular events throughout the fall season. Southwest Customers can choose from more than 50 flights to five events, including three events that span multiple weekends.
In Austin, both weekends of the Texas state capital's biggest music festival (Oct. 3-5 and Oct. 10-12) and the U.S. grand prix for open-wheel auto racing (Oct. 18-19) have extra flights scheduled. Other events with extra flights include a bass music festival in Columbus, Ohio (Sept. 19-21), a balloon festival in Albuquerque, N.M. (Oct. 4-5 and Oct. 11-12), and rodeo's premier championship in Las Vegas (Dec. 4-7 and Dec. 11-13).
