NI Digilent Analog Discovery Studio Max electronics lab enables quick and easy circuit design testing in hands-on learning environments
AUSTIN, Texas (June 18, 2025) - Emerson has announced the NI Digilent Analog Discovery Studio Max, a multi-instrument lab for engineering experimentation. Designed for academic use in the classroom or remote learning environments, the new platform integrates 14 essential test instruments into a single, portable device.
The lab includes integrated power supplies and a breadboardable interface, enabling students to easily design and test circuits. Featuring a 14-bit resolution oscilloscope, waveform generator, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, digital multimeter (DMM), power supplies and protocol analyzer, the NI Digilent Analog Discovery Studio Max combines several tools that engineering students need to advance critical skill sets.
"This is a comprehensive, compact, and user-friendly resource for students to develop a deeper understanding of fundamental electronics principles," said Oscar Fonseca Lozano, academic product manager with Emerson's test and measurement business. "We're excited to see how the lab will help the next generation of engineers as they broaden their knowledge base using advanced test and measurement technologies."
Compatible with Digilent WaveForms, NI LabVIEW™, C, and Python* for custom software development, the platform provides users with flexibility for both data acquisition and subsequent analysis. The Analog Discovery Studio Max ecosystem also extends the platform's usefulness with the ability to include subject-specific materials and hardware from academic partners. The NI Digilent Analog Discovery Studio Max is now available for direct purchase and via select electronics distributors.
