At IHS Towers (IHS Holding Limited and its subsidiaries) we recognize that Health, Safety, and Security are essential components of all our activities. We are committed to safeguarding the Health, Safety, Security, and Welfare of our employees and others who may be affected by our undertakings related to the design, construction, and operation of our telecommunications infrastructure.

A systematic and comprehensive approach to all Health, Safety, and Security related matters will be implemented within IHS Holding Limited entities and its subsidiaries.

We will achieve this together as we:

Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Group requirements.

Promote a strong safety culture, with clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and leadership accountability.

Identify and assess safety and security risks, implementing appropriate threat identification, controls and mitigation measures across all activities.

Integrate asset integrity management across the facility lifecycle, using data and performance insights.

Ensure workforce competence, with mandatory certification, training and awareness.

Manage contractor and supplier performance to ensure adherence to IHS standards.

Continuously improve performance, through monitoring, audit, incident investigation, and lessons learned.

Ensure early detection and categorization of security risks, enabling timely escalation and decision-making.

Maintain safe and secure working environments, with appropriate physical and procedural safeguards in place.

Ensure operational resilience, through emergency preparedness and response planning to minimize business impact.

This Policy applies to all IHS employees and property. Suppliers conducting work on IHS property must also comply with this Policy.
