Amac first European Apple reseller to repair iPads in-house

Amac is the first official Apple reseller in Europe allowed to repair iPads themselves using original Apple parts. The Dutch company has received a license from Apple for this. Specially trained technicians carry out the repairs at the service center in The Wall in Utrecht.

Amac already performs around 45,000 Apple repairs annually, mainly for iPhones and Macs. Until now, defective iPads were always sent to Apple, as these devices are difficult to repair. This is partly due to the size of the screen, internal cables that can be easily damaged if handled carelessly, and the battery, which is more fragile than that of an iPhone.

Thanks to a renewed design of the latest generation of iPads, Amac can now perform the repairs themselves.

Customers can drop off their defective iPads at any of the 47 Amac locations. The repair is then carried out at the repair center in The Wall Utrecht, where 25 technicians work. Amac is allowed to use original Apple parts for the repairs.
