--Foxconn Technology Group asked hundreds of Chinese engineers and technicians to leave its iPhone factories in India, putting a dent in Apple Inc.'s push to expand manufacturing in the South Asian country, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the plans.
--Many of Foxconn's Chinese staff were told to fly back starting two months ago, according to Bloomberg.
--It is unclear why Foxconn, Apple's biggest assembler of iPhones, sent the workers home, Bloomberg said.
--An Apple representative declined to comment, Bloomberg reported. Foxconn did not respond to Bloomberg's emailed request for comment.
