What Happened: A Form 4 filing from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission states that Ho Peter S exercised options to purchase 5,834 Bank Of Hawaii shares at a price of $47.72 per share for a total of $278,398 on October 11. They then sold their shares on the same day in the open market. They sold at a price of $83.38 to raise a total of $486,439 from the stock sale.

Following the transaction, S still owns 242,022 shares of the company, worth $19,765,936.

The Importance of Insider Transactions
