STORY: Donald Trump is not happy with his Coca-Cola, and he's doing something about it.

The U.S. President says he's persuaded the company to change the recipe for its famous drink.

Trump says executives have agreed to use cane sugar in the U.S., instead of corn syrup.

"You'll see", he said in a social media post, "it's just better!"

Medical experts say there's no real health advantage in cane sugar.

However, a panel convened by Trump has said corn syrup could play a role in childhood obesity and other conditions.

Nutritionists generally just advise limiting the intake of all sugars.

Now farmers may not be happy about any change.

A corn industry body said a move to avoid syrup could cost thousands of American jobs.

It said the result would be more imports of sugar, for no health benefit.

Coca-Cola said it would share details on new offerings soon, and thanked Trump for his interest in its products.

Whenever a change comes, president seems sure to be ready with a taste test.
