BLUEFIELD, Va. (AP) _ First Community Bancshares Inc. (FCBC) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $10.6 million.

The Bluefield, Virginia-based bank said it had earnings of 62 cents per share.

The holding company for First Community Bank posted revenue of $35 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $34.4 million, topping Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $51.2 million, or $2.94 per share. Revenue was reported as $136.8 million.
