Linde announces the commissioning of one of the world's largest helium storage caverns, located in Beaumont, Texas, with a capacity of more than three billion cubic feet (nearly 85 million m3). This infrastructure, one of only three of its kind worldwide based on salt, aims to secure supply in the face of fluctuations in demand. This project is part of Linde's expansion strategy in helium, which is used in applications such as semiconductors, space launches and medical imaging. Anshul Sarda, Managing Director, Global Helium and Rare Gases, emphasizes that this investment strengthens Linde's global network to ensure reliable access to this critical resource.
