Pratt & Whitney is investing more than $100 million across three maintenance, repair and overhaul sites in Texas, Florida and Arkansas.

The aerospace manufacturer, which is owned by RTX, said Tuesday the investments are part of its efforts to increase maintenance capacity for its jet engine GTF.

Pratt & Whitney plans to expand the facilities and add new equipment to improve speed and efficiency.

It will spend $78 million in Irving, Texas, where it open a new 500,000-square-foot facility for its commercial serviceable assets business.

It plans to allocate $20 million to expand its engine center in West Palm Beach, Fla., and $4.7 million to add 7,000 square feet to its propulsion systems division in Springdale, Arkansas.

Earlier this year, Pratt & Whitney opened an 81,000-square-foot GTF expansion in Columbus, Ga. It spent $70 million on that expansion.
