Furniture stocks rebounded after President Trump placed a 90-day pause on reciprocal tariffs for all trading partners except China.

RH led the climb with shares up 23% at $183.00. Shares of Wayfair rose 20% to $28.97, while Williams-Sonoma ticked up 13% to $156.93 and Lovesac rose 23% to $15.31.

Ethan Allen Interiors, which says it manufactures a majority of its furniture in North America, saw shares rise 10% to $27.78.

Office-furniture stocks also rose, with MillerKnoll and Steelcase up 11% and 10%, respectively.

The industry's shares had come under pressure in recent days after Trump rolled out plans for sweeping tariffs, with particularly high levies on countries like Indonesia and Vietnam.

Many furniture companies pivoted toward such countries to source low-cost goods in recent years in an attempt to avoid tariffs on China from Trump's first term.

The pause on tariffs, announced Wednesday, applies to all trading partners except China, Trump said on his Truth Social platform.

Trump also said reciprocal tariffs will be lowered to 10% across the board, except for China, which now faces a 125% tariff.
